Our promise: "unforgettable creativity that makes good sense"

Making Sense helps charities, businesses and community groups to develop strategies that create coherence - strengthening key areas of identityinfluenceincome and impact.

Martin Thomas has been working in the charity sector for over 20 years in a variety of trustee and staff roles, including CMS, World Vision UK and most recently Viva, an international children's charity, where he had oversight of the mobilisation offices in the UK, North America and Hong Kong. Martin is a writer, a member of the Institute of Fundraising (IoF) and Society of Authors (SoA). He writes a column for Sorted Magazine and is also a children's author - Little Elephants.

I’ve been privileged to work with organisations, networks and events as a volunteer, employee, consultant, trustee and speaker. Together we’ve formed partnerships that have delivered impact, increased influence and strengthened identity, creating strong and lasting relationships along the way. Organisations include:

Arcola Theatre, A Rocha UK, Bless Network, BRF, CMS, Faith to Share, Faith to Faith Trust, Global Connections, Nigerian Chaplaincy, Oxford Youth Works, Spring Harvest, The Writers’ Advice Centre for Children’s Books, Urban Expression, Viva - together for children, World Vision UK.
