Our promise: "unforgettable creativity that makes good sense"

Making Sense helps NGO's, businesses and community groups to develop strategies that create coherence - strengthening key areas of identityinfluenceincome and impact.

Martin Thomas has been working in the charity sector for over 20 years in a variety of trustee and leadership roles; including Director of External Engagement for SAT-7 UK (current), CMS, World Vision UK and Viva, an international children's charity, where he had oversight of the mobilisation offices in the UK, North America and Hong Kong.

Martin is a writer, a member of the Institute of Fundraising (IoF) and Society of Authors (SoA). He writes a column for Sorted Magazine and is also a published children's author - Little Elephants.

I’ve been privileged to work with organisations, networks and events as a volunteer, employee, consultant, trustee and speaker. Together we’ve formed partnerships that have delivered impact, increased influence and strengthened identity, creating strong and lasting relationships along the way. Organisations include:

Arcola Theatre, A Rocha UK, Bless Network, BRF, ChildAid, CMS, Faith to Share, Faith to Faith Trust, Global Connections, Nigerian Chaplaincy, Oxford Youth Works, SAT-7 UK, Spring Harvest, The Writers’ Advice Centre for Children’s Books, Torch Trust, Urban Expression, Viva - together for children, World Vision UK.
